OBP began development of a paper core shredder for the paper and packaging industries. The Company is also awarded patents on its Mist-Clone and Slurry-Tech product lines OBP continues to provide innovative solutions to the fast-growing corrugated box industry while focusing on establishing valuable partnerships and increasing operating efficiency.

Mist-Clone & Slurry-Tec

In response to adoption of newvacuum-transfer systems, the Company developed its patented Mist-Clone and Slurry-Tec product to combat dust contamination issues.

Pit-Belt System

OBP developed the Pit-Belt System that marries a continuous overhead belt with a pneumatic air system to create energy efficiencies for customers OBP designs, engineers, and manufactures its ROTOVEYOR system for International Paper. This system helped to significantly reduce International Paper’s energy costs.

Prefered Supplier

OBP applies focus to capture preferred supplier status for the leading integrated box companies in the USA.

CLEANAIR Line

Through a joint venture with Camfil, OBP developed its CLEANAIR line of dust collectors.

BANOIL Products

Cutter Conveyor

OBP begins to manufacture its own line of proprietary cutter conveyor and material handling fans.

AIRSCREEN Parts

OBP acquires rights to AIRSCREEN patent for North and South America from AIRMAT Systems, allowing it to offer a significantly improved under roof separator and provide traction for under roof.

Vice President

Ed Fakeris, following successful careers at Eaton Corporation and, later, at Furon Corporation where he ultimately rose to the position of Vice President of International Operations, started at OBP.

Family Business

After working as an engineer for Hughes Helicopters, William “Bill” Roberts decided to return to the family business
