AirScreen Micro
In industrial settings, maintaining air quality is crucial for ensuring employee health, equipment longevity, and overall operational efficiency. The AirScreen® Micro Industrial Air Cleaner offers an advanced solution to these challenges, effectively filtering airborne contaminants and creating a safer work environment.
Understanding the Importance of Industrial Air Cleaners
Airborne pollutants, including micro-particulates, vapors, and oil mists, can pose significant health risks to workers and lead to equipment degradation. Implementing an effective industrial air cleaner is essential.
- Enhance Workplace Health: By removing harmful airborne particles, the AirScreen® Micro reduces respiratory issues and promotes overall well-being among employees.
- Protect Equipment: Clean air minimizes the accumulation of contaminants on machinery, thereby reducing maintenance needs and extending equipment lifespan.
- Improve Productivity: A cleaner environment leads to fewer health-related absences and fosters a more efficient workflow.
Key Features of the AirScreen® Micro
- Ductless Design: The AirScreen® Micro operates without the need for complex ductwork, simplifying installation and allowing for flexible placement within various industrial settings.
- Self-Adjusting Motor: Equipped with a self-regulating motor, the system maintains consistent airflow (CFM) levels even as filters become loaded, ensuring continuous optimal performance.
- Intelligent Filter Monitoring: An indicator light alerts users when it’s time to replace filters, based on customizable parameters that balance energy consumption and filter replacement costs.
- Quiet Operation: Designed for minimal noise, the AirScreen® Micro is suitable for environments where quiet operation is essential, such as offices, auditoriums, or conference rooms.
Benefits of Implementing the AirScreen® Micro
- Comprehensive Contaminant Removal: The system effectively eliminates tobacco smoke, weld smoke, dust, asbestos, viruses, oil mist, and particles of all sizes down to ultra-fine levels.
- Reduced Housekeeping Expenses: By capturing airborne dust before it settles, the AirScreen® Micro decreases the need for frequent cleaning, leading to cost savings.
- Compliance with Health Guidelines: Aligning with recommendations from health authorities, the AirScreen® Micro aids in filtering airborne viruses, contributing to a healthier workplace.

Description
According to a New England Journal of Medicine article, infectious viruses (including COVID-19) can remain in the air for up to (3) three hours. Fortunately, these micro-droplets can be removed from the air with a high-efficiency air filter.
Our AIRSCREEN μicro ambient air cleaner effectively filters molecular dust AND, when optioned with a MERV 15 or MERV 16 filter selection, will combat and reduce the risk of COVID-19, Coronavirus or other contaminations being spread.
Both MERV 15 and MERV 16 filters exceed the ASHRAE Standard 170-2013 minimum for hospital filtration. A HEPA filter is available for extremely critical areas, such as a research laboratory.
History of Viruses
- Viruses for which no viable vaccine has been found are difficult to control. In combination with high infection and mortality rates, these viruses can become severe and very difficult-to-manage pandemics.
- The World Health Organization has declared alerts and outbreaks many times in history due to deadly virus infection. Here are few that are noteworthy.
- In February of 2003, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) killed about 1 in 10 people affected. In 40 years of the occurrence, the Ebola virus has killed 25% to 90% of those infected. Novel Coronavirus that started in 2019, has more than 40,000 reported cases, and this number been growing.
