Airveyor

In industrial settings where efficient material handling is paramount, Air Belt Conveyors provide a streamlined solution for transporting various materials with minimal maintenance. Ohio Blow Pipe’s Airveyor stands out as a robust and innovative system designed to enhance productivity across multiple industries.

Understanding the Airveyor System

Unlike traditional belt conveyors, the Airveyor utilizes a thin, rugged design that can be seamlessly integrated beneath or within equipment such as die cutters, printer slotters, and other converting machinery. This integration optimizes space and ensures a smoother workflow.

Key Features of the Airveyor

  • Versatile Material Handling: Capable of transporting materials like cardboard, paper, foil, laminates, light metal, and similar substances, the Airveyor adapts to various industrial needs.
  • Durable Construction: Built from heavy steel plates with slight overlaps to direct airflow, the Airveyor boasts a design free from moving parts, except for the motor and fan supplying air. This results in reduced wear and extended system longevity.
  • Space-Efficient Design: Its low-profile structure allows for installation in confined spaces, making it ideal for facilities with limited room. The system requires minimal floor space for fans and motors, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Adjustable Airflow: Field-adjustable air volume and velocity controls enable customization based on specific load requirements, ensuring optimal performance across different applications.

Advantages of Implementing Air Belt Conveyors

  • Minimal Maintenance: The absence of moving parts in the conveying mechanism reduces maintenance needs, leading to lower operational costs and decreased downtime.
  • Enhanced Safety: By eliminating complex or bulky mechanisms, the Airveyor reduces potential hazards, contributing to a safer work environment.
  • Long-Term Reliability: The sturdy construction and innovative design ensure consistent performance, making the Airveyor a dependable choice for long-term industrial operations.

Applications Across Industries

The versatility of the Airveyor makes it suitable for various sectors, including:

  • Printing and Bindery: Efficiently handles paper and foil scraps, streamlining waste management processes.
  • Packaging: Transports laminates and light metal materials, enhancing packaging line efficiency.
  • Metal Fabrication: Conveys light metal cutoffs, improving material handling and workplace organization.

Description

The Airveyor can handle cardboard, paper, file, laminates, light metal and similar materials.

The Airveyor can support workers for machine setup or maintenance, can change direction of material movement with no complicated or bulky mechanisms, and provides unusually long-life without conveyor wear or special maintenance.

The conveyor itself is constructed from heavy steel plates overlapped slightly to allow air flow in the desired direction. No moving parts are used in the system, except for the motor and fan required to supply air.

Airveyors are ideally suited for incorporation into complete trim handling systems utilizing ultimate disposal in the form of saleable baled scrap.

Ohio Blow Pipe designs provide a wide range of application flexibility. Low profile Airveyors are available in virtually any length-to-width ratio to fit beneath existing equipment, such as printer slotters. Much less floor space is required for fans and motors. Air volume and velocity controls can be adjusted in the field for different loads.
